for turning me onto the auction that netted me these.
I am still cataloging them, Have all the numbers, checking paper types on some.
What is the difference between hand stamped and printed?

the second image, second row, first stamp 25 cent Bond stamp has a nice "embossing" on it, like someone would do with a notary seal. All I can make so far is "New York"

Congratulations!

For those who don't know it. The 1st stamp is a US Proprietary Stamp RB8b (C.V. $1000).

I'm glad you won them! Out of curiosity what was the final bid?
Anything else you want me to find for you?

what is the difference between hand stamped and printed? I know hand-stamped is worth more then pen, printed is worth more then hand-stamped.

The Cancel on the RB8b and the 50 cent Conveyance are examples of hand cancels.
Printed Cancels are just that, they are PRINTED onto the stamp with a printer. Similar to a precancel.

R85c is still difficult to find with more than 2 good margins. So it is still a nice find!
