I am putting together a collection of stamps from the Philippines. Does anyone know of a good source besides ebay and the Philippine Post Office where I can buy mint PI stamps.

Thanks,
Ron

I am doing the same thing I recently started focusing on Philippines, and the the dead country of Hawaii. the album I won goes from start up to 1997

by the time you get to 50 posts I should have some Idea of my duplicates maybe we can do a packet trades. I've been buying mine off ebay as lots, we are probably bidding against each other :)

I do agree, its been quite a task to find these stamps in any great number and still good condition. btw, I'm collecting primarily used are you as well?

Edwin, my wife is from the Philippines so I manage to get some from relative out there, but buy most of them also from ebay. Years ago I had just about completed a collection, but than I stopped collecting stamp and sold the collection. Now that I'm back collecting again I want to try and complete the collection again. I found a site on the web called Stampbooks.com that you can download albums for a number of different countries. The Philippines being one, the cost was $9.95 for a 498 page album from 1854 to 2008. The pages are printable, and as long as you have a three hole punch and binder to put the pages in it's a very nice album for the price.

Ah, My Girlfriend is also from the Philippines I'm using this album to try to get her interested in collecting, however I think I'll be doing 90% of the work. :)
