This is a forgery I recently purchased. I had been waiting for one of these for some time. It's not too rare.....just hard to find. It fits in with the other WWII forgeries I have.

sharksfan11 that block looks like a forgery of a forgery since they were originally forged by the United States Office of Strategic Services during the war and yours don't look like the ones I have seen before.

You should try banking. Banksters create money from nothing, buy up the world, then say we have to endure all kinds of new taxes to pay them for their crimes while they collapse economies everywhere.

Money from nothing and stuff for free!

My stamps are a forgery of a forgery. The original forgeries issued by the Allies are extremely hard to find. There are a ton of forgeries of the original.

Here is one type of the original.

Sperati forgeries are collectible, and I was excited to find several in an auction lot purchased a few years ago. Sadly, they were fakes of fakes or forged forgeries, even with faked Sperati forgery marks on the back. Here are a couple of them.

I could put you in touch with one. But I know that the price would be VERY STEEP.

Why would someone want to forge the 5c Davis? Were these created at the time of issue or later for collectors?
I have one of these that looks to be original and from what I have read there are about 12,000,000 London prints and 36,250,000 made in Richmond VA.

This is not a forgery Anthony, but a facsimile made for collectors/Tourists/souvenir Hunters etc.
I showed two others in an earlier post of similar quality. They came in a presentation card with relevant text. I will find the card and post it here shortly.

Anyone found offering these as the real thing should be shot at dawn.
Anyone found buying them thinking they are should give up collecting.

The Confederate States facsimiles shown in previous posts were produced by H.E.MacIntosh in 1941 and sold in Booklets by the Tatham Stamp and Coin Company of Springfield,Mass. sometime after that.
They were one of series called Tasco Booklets, named after the company.

An excellent website here.

http://www.junior-philatelists.com/TASCO.shtml

Here is my lone booklet, T7.
The envelope is Pink. Also issued in a Blue envelope shown at the website, in different font and added address.

If anyone taking a look at the site and recognizes Tasco Booklet T6, I am interested in buying a copy/ies. Anyone seeing one for sale somewhere, please shout my way [I mean give me a shout, not the great Sinatra classic!]
