Hello I'm new here like everyone else!

I have been collecting stamps since 1968. My first album was a Harris Ambassador album, given to me by my parents. I worked as a kid selling greeting cards and seeds door-to-door and saved up enough to buy a Scott National Album. We had a small stamp club in elementary school where we showed off our treasures and traded our duplicates.

Since that time I have focused on collecting early US used stamps and covers, and US revenue stamps, especially the first three issues. I also collect engraved checks and stock certificates.

I have been a member of the American Philatelic Society since 1984 and recently became a life member.
