Alright, I had to look at mine to compare the colors between the 733 and 753. The 753 is a shade darker but mostly appears so because the white background on the entire 753 has a bluish tinge whereas the 733 is mostly white. Never noticed that before. I love this site!

Kirks, your pair of 768 sheets has a portion of the "CS" imprint in the upper margin. This is "Chromed Steel", see the July 2007 US Specialist for an article on these plates.

I am a big FDR fan. Apparently, he made a correction to the map as the proof crossed his desk. A stamp collector himself, he personally reviewed each stamp prior to issuance.
