What is a mint and used set worth today?

As with everything, condition is everything. A set in a grade of fine, and hinged sells for about $800, whereas a graded set I've been looking at for some time in VF80, NH condition is $1800. This is about a third of what they were selling for 15-20 years ago.

Thanks Philb and Rileysan

Compared to our Kangaroos that's not a bad price for that great set.
