Perhaps another way would be to see if you could persuade lurkers to join up and mention you. Maybe by dredging through old posts and seeing if you could bring new interest in them. If they are lurking and not posting, we must have not interested them enough yet Also I think there are many people who are registered and not posted since the first of the year. They can also count if they post once again and mention you. Best of luck, Jim |

Ok, Since I am the only one on the forum tonight, I feel like Santa...no cookies though! Prize 1 for tonight, a group of Misc. stamps. Prize 2 , 3 pages from an old ( 1960s )approval booklet. The description is below the stamps. Notice they were valued in 1961-62 Prize 3 for the night , I tried to get some older stamps for countries. Each is scott # less than 100. I think . Some have some toning on perfs or a little paper to soak off on minor fault. Swiss, Natal, British Guiana, Victoria. All added to the grand prize envelope... Jim |

Ok, here are the next two additions to the membership contest. The end is coming up! Keep track of your points. First, a series of covers, most are from the Australian Postal Service ( says so on the back) , a FDC, and a "blessing on your house" Papal visit cancel. And then another group of stamps in the top 100 scott # for the country, except for the columbian, which is not. Jim |

Yeah, but if you get some of the coin guys who haven't posted since the first of the year, and they mention your name as to why they posted this time, that's a point. But to be fair, don't tell them it is a contest, we want to raise their interest to come over rather than just post for a point. Maybe once they see what good things are here, they will continue to come by.

Ding Ding Ding, Time is up! CONTEST OVER! WHO IS THE WINNER????
post here or email me your total Points. I will give 3 days grace for those who might not check in Daily!
Besides I will be out of town a couple of days and will announce the winner and get all into the mail ! It was fun thinking up things to give as prizes, but next time maybe more ways to collect points.
