The mail is really going from bad to worse. An 83-year-old gentleman I got to know recently told me that when he was working for the Narrandera post office back in the early 60s you got hell if an item wasn't delivered the day after it was posted. In other words, one day was the norm.

I just got an email from the expert that my stamps arrived today. 12 days to go 120 miles.

The stamps still have to make it back home again.
Maybe you should tell Weiss, you will pick them up.

Triggersmob.. you funny guy...
return shipment is being done different. the only issue I have now is the #1 is a total disaster, thins, creases, a CLEANED pen cancel, plus a blue grid cancel that may not be genuine. I have already talked to the seller Apfelbuam and they are taking it back. but I found out they won't refund me for the cert costs.
At this point I will not buy any more classic stamps without seeing them in person or getting them on approval. I am done with this nonsense.
I am so tired of dealers selling crap as gold.

Did you ever notice that the only things that seem to get lost in the Mail are ebay shipments and expensive items ? Why is it my Electric or Credit card bills or any bill for that matter, never ever gets lost.

Sorry to hear the deal went south for you; but, at least we won't impugn the PO reputation any further.
I'm in the FedEx camp for that kind of thing.
Or maybe carrier pigeon? That way the crap would be real...

I have to delicately lift what I'm sending you from the page, so it will be this weekend, at least, before it goes. I'll email. when I post them.

Maybe the pigeon that they tied it to got tired and stopped off for a rest on the way??

Or maybe he saw a she pigeon and got distracted from the task at hand.

Maybe they were all out of pigeons and had to strap it to a turtle instead?

Or maybe .....
