Can anyone identify the red overprinting on these two stamps from the Republic of Haiti. They are postmarked 7 Fev( French for Feburary)1914 Regards Horamakhet
The stamps have two overprints but they're not easy to read:
1. In black in 1914, "GL. O.Z. 7 FEV. 1914" which are the initials of President-General Oreste Zamor.
2. In red in 1919, "1CT GOURDE" with three more figure 1's at the top in different directions, surcharging the stamps from 20c down to 1c. The currency was 100 cents = 1 gourde = 1 piastre.
