Hey there. Since I lack any catalogue and some Internet-pages say that and some say something else, it's hard to identify and find out the CV.

I'm hoping you can tell me what these two Stamps are!

My guess - comparing to some webpage;

"1870
Sc134 SG136
1c ultramarine" says 600£ for these..

Which I find hard to believe! So help me out!

Thanks!

Impossible to say based on the scan. But it is more likely Scott 156 or 182.

Yeah, it's the only thing it could be.
The only way to tell the difference between a 182 and a 206 is the new engraving.

Just wondering how do you tell it's a new engraving?
Is my stamp the same thing?

Yes your stamp is the same.

How we tell the difference is in the scroll work at the top on both sides.

Thanks for the link. I can see the "secret mark" in the ball to the left of the number 1 so I'll mark this one as #206. I have a couple more like this and one doesn't seem to have the dark shading above US. I don't want to hijack this thread so I'll start another posting with a photo. I bought two old stamp albums and I suspect some of the stamps were put in the wrong places by the previous owner[s].
