Just an item of possible interest. There is a run from Quesnel, BC, a town of about 8000 south of Prince George, to Barkerville, a restored gold mining town east of there starting tomorrow and winding up on Sunday. They are carrying mail and a part of the event will be Canada Post unveiling the design for their dogsled mail commemorative (due sometime in March).

Can't take credit. It's the cover design selected by the Sled Dog Association and is a picture of the Quesnel Post Office circa 1920. The link in the first frame will give more photos of the event.
