This is a great profile of Edward VII and the detail is tremendous despite the heavy cancel, but I don't know any catalog number or near value for it. Certainly during Edward's reign but I don't know exactly when. Can anyone help?

This is a cut-out from a King Edward VII newspaper wrapper. It's either from the 1902 De La Rue printing (carmine) or the 1911 McCorquodale printings (dull carmine). The complete wrappers are priced used at £5, £75 and £30 so maybe 50p for the cut-out.

I believe the postmark is a London "Foreign Branch" one for mail sent overseas.

I would happily pay you $4 for it.
I collect them.
It is a beautiful thing.
As Nigel indicated, "Foreign Branch"
strike which served as both a cancellation and a transit mark.
The "B" indicates the amount of poastage to be paid, or was paid.

Letters included A,C,D and M

I'll wait till you have 50 posts.
If you are ok to sell it, then the fairest
way is put it to auction here with a reserve of $4
That way I do not have dibs on a piece someone else
may want as well.

Yep, that is sharp.

I know that it is not unheard of to issue older material after the changeover in monarchs (I'm thinking of the 1911 Jamaica KEVIIs (better late than never) as an example), but it is a bit surprising to me that a GB issue would use KEVII in 1911. Should I not be surprised?

I think what Cjd was referring to was the reference to the printings in 1911. I too am puzzled by this. Did printings with Edward VII continue after George V became king?

The first newspaper wrappers with a King George V stamp were only issued in 1912.

I guess I was thinking of the effort that went into recalling the Tyrian plums on Edward's death, and figured that another batch of KEVII (whether wrappers or whathaveyou) wouldn't be whipped up as late as 1911.

Maybe the recall of the plums was due to the recency of his passing...?
