You can use this information or take it with a grain of salt. We always have many new people come on here and there is just to much information on this one dealer or multiple dealers using varying practices that are very sly with ebay. So this post should be a caution to new and some old collectors. Many have seen the auctions with tons of great stamps from mistatenpercent or golden hoard or Regency. Here are many other user names that are all the same outfit. Marys-gems, Marys_gems, Mista-tenpercent, Mistatenpercent, Mist10percent, Philatelic Express, Golden_hoarde, Golden-hoarde, Highgradestamps, Regency-auctions, and Emmas Stamps. Checkout Regency as they change their name from rarebooty when they received to many negatives to emmastamps then got negatives again and made their feedback private then changed to regency-auctions. Just last week they had new stock posted for auction but received 2 negatives Monday so straight back to private feedback they went and all stock removed. I had almost purchased from golden-hoarde awhile back until I started researching them and found multiple user names. Now I am not the only one following this as 2 other major stamp forums have extensive research and followups on this dealer. I really feel that with all the chatter going on that we may see a major upset in the stamp community with them. As I said to be taken with a grain of salt and this is my insight.

Thanks for the info. What I keep thinking is that these people must be using the same ISP or at least a few of a different ISP's, but ones that keep coming up concurrently must be noticed by ebay. The credit card info has got to be the same for these folks. Again, ebay must notice. Donna |

they can set up different paypal accounts and use different credit cards and even use different addresses. They are out of the UK, so It's hard to get them when they screw you. |

1775mac, this is great information for those of us that buy stamps on ebay. Could there be a thread with a list of the ebay Sellers, past & present, to watch out for? Just A Thought |

Another forum does have such a list but here we just list em as we find them.
What made me bring this up on this dealer is they also have a in house certification service and these certs. are starting to pop up on other auctions. It worries me as some new collectors will see these and buy just because of a cert. By the way their service is under the name PES (Philatelic Expertising Service). Looks real familiar to PSE huh? |

Finally, Mista-tenpercent, Mistatenpercent, Mist10percent, Philatelic Express, Golden_hoarde, Golden-hoarde, Highgradestamps, Regency-auctions, and Emmas Stamps are NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER!
Yes, there are people out there watching out for crooked dealers. There has been discussions on this Cartel for months. Finally they were shutdown. But they are already trying to open up new accounts which are being followed. These people are really given the hobby a black eye. Will update soon. |

This cartel has sold it seems, about a million dollars of material via ebay in the past year if you use << Link Removed by Staff >> to track their sales. A good deal of it being regummed older stamps it seems clear from posts all around the globe. http://www.stampboards.com/viewtopi...74&start=105They seem to have a large number of shelf "shill bidders" to help the prices along. It seems like a large UK based operation, selling stamps from all over, often into 5 figures each. golden-hoarde regency-auctions mistatenpercent highgradestamps emmastamps marys-gems marys-finegems Are the main selling accounts it seems. Oddly in the ebay NARU banning today, the last 2 did not get wiped despite being the same account, even down to the "ME" page and have shill bids from the other accounts wiped. http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...rys-finegemshttp://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...d=marys-gems ebay now have set up a fast portal to report suspected sellers of forged and regummed etc stamps at - www. (Offsite URL shortening not allowed) /ebayfakes - there is space for 10,000 characters in your reply, so all the relevant info can be added. Unlike most ebay complaint forms that frustratingly allow 100 characters etc. |

As for buyers who rip off sellers, there is UPDSTAMP of China. He declines registration at his risk then says he did not receive the lot and files with Ebay-Paypal. Of course with ebay-Paypal the buyer is always right. He did it to myself and JimJamtwo, another member of this board. |

Quote: He declines registration at his risk then says he did not receive the lot and files with Ebay-Paypal. Not possible to be his risk. It's always at the sellers risk. The seller is always responsible to get the item to the buyer, and prove it. Not just on ebay. "Not responsible for uninsured items" is one of the biggest lies on the internet. Trivial disclaimers in am item description do not override Federal law. |
