Well worth saving love the late fee. I assume that the "RLY" is similar to U.S. "R.M.S." and "R.P.O."

I thought RLY is just short for "railway".

Right Smauggie, depending on era,
RLY, TPO, RMS RPO all similar in service designate.

I have soaked them, underneath on the muslin,
was an old ad for vesta batteries, and part address
to a motorcycle repairers in broken hill,
probably sending up a set of brushes for an old
Velocette motorcycle in the bush.
Had to get there ASAP reason for the late fee.

I wonder how many times it changed hands since 1937
as collectors grimaced and passed it on,
to be finally found by me
