smauggie, after reading the article in your link, I am left wondering if the postal workers would have forwarded the parcel if there had been air holes in the parcel.

I think the woman who tried to mail a dog is the 'air hole' !

This would be funny if it weren't so cruel.

I can see her misguided thinking though - my wife wanted to take our 7 pound dog to Georgia with her and she had to pay the equivalent of a full airline ticket for the dog but could not even put the carrier on an empty seat. It had to stay on the floor. Another airline rip.
