As some of you might know I buy world collections and incorporate them into my collection. Of course most are easy some, however some are very hard to figure out. If someone could help me I would be grateful.

9) This I can't identity at all, but it seems like a man's head is in the middle. Any ideas?

13) Again these seems Italian, but am not sure.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Stamp47.jpg

20) No names again. I've begun to dislike these.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Stamp26.jpg

24) Again with no names.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Stamp25.jpg

30) Has to be from a Soviet Country but which one?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Stamp14.jpg

31) Has Polish written on it, but could it be from WW2 or is it a Cinderella?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Stamp13.jpg

I know its a lot to get through and I'm very grateful for all the help I get! Thanks!

Edit: Thank you all for helping. I really appreciate it!

To start out with your first entry (Boys Town) they had been issuing cinderella-type stamps every Christmas as a fundraiser. This link will give you the background information you are looking for on the organization:

I previously posted this link in another thread under "cinderellas". It's a good stamp identifier resource for identifying Bogus Issues (i.e. cinderellas for obscure areas not meant for actual postal duty.) You can search this site and answer many of your own questions on many of these issues:

Katchem - in order to maintain some level of readability would you be able to update you thread as items are identified?
You can use the edit post - (icon has what looks like a pencil)
Some unusual items there which I'll try and assist in identifying.

15) Italy - I think you will have heard of that.
20) Top item looks to be Greece.

Unfortunately some of your scans/photos are not clear enough.

If you search the forums for Tutorial: a number people have written some scanning and image hosting tips which may help.

Items 7 and 8: 7 is definitely a dud; 8 looks pretty shaky - I wouldn't be spending money on it on the basis of that scan. (There are a lot of fakes of these going around.)

Edit: After looking at the Charkhari again, it's definitely a dud also.

14: These all appear to be East China. For what it's worth, these

are the characters for East China. They might occur in this order, or reversed.

23: This gets a bit messy. They're all from Manchuria. The first is Northeast China. The characters for Northeast are

Again, they can appear in either order.

The second is Northeast China or post-liberation Manchuria.

The third is Manchukuo.

10b is a south russia surcharge stamp

it has the Imperial Eagle and Post Horns found on Russian Empire stamps.
Mapka is short for the Finland currency "Markka."
This is a South Russia issue.

Pre-1917

Am I brilliant? Yes, but I found this information here. You may want to book mark it.

Nobody recognised the Indian stamp?
21) is an Indian definitive stamp from the Science and Technology series (1986-95). Issued 27 Feb 1987 (SG1213). India (in Hindi and English) is on the LHS, obscured by the cancellation.

17) is Russia 1964 "The way to the stars" Sputniks 4k (SG 2979 B in SOTW). Pochta CCCP 4k is almost visible across the bottom of the stamp.
