With two postmarks an auxiliary marking and a proprietary handstamp I couldn't pass it up.

There are notes at the bottom stating #1 - 1873. Is this the first postal card from the Netherlands?



If anybody reads Dutch, let me know and I will post an image of the reverse (though the script is a bit cryptic).

I believe it is the first postal card of the Netherlands. There are some illustrations of similar cards here.
