Chicago, IL | Are These Box Cancels Or Precancels?

Not sure if I have any precancels or if they may be box cancels. Any comments?

These are all "L" precancels ranging from L-4 thru L-40, but would need to check closely with each illustration to properly identify each one.

The first one looks like L-12 HS, the second one looks like L-32 HS and the last looks like L-39 HS.

Just came across these additional Chicago precancels. Based on the information provided earlier in this thread, I may have identified some of them, but would like confirmation:



Stamp 1 = ? (Measurements 15 mm between bars; 2 mm between top bar and city; 2.5 mm between city and state; 2 mm between state and bottom bar.)

Stamp 2 = Looks to be a Type 224 (?) (Measurements 12 mm between bars; 2 mm between top bar and city; 1 mm between city and state; 1.5 mm between state and bottom bar.)

Stamp 3 = Looks to be a Type L-32 HS as noted above. (Measurements 12 mm between bars; 1 mm between top bar and city; 2.5 mm between city and state; 1 mm between state and bottom bar.)

Stamp 4 = Looks to be similar to the L-39 HS noted above. (Mesurements 12.5 mm between bars; 2.5 mm between top bar and city; 1 mm between city and state; 3 mm between state and bottom bar.)
