I've searched as much as I could on the Internet for the name of this town, but no dice. Can anyone make this out? I've partially identified Heuber...u - P..übungsplatz. The town probably doesn't exist anymore or changed names after WWII. Also, where was this postcard going? K'he D..?
Thanks, Will

You can tell a few things from his signature Battlestamps,
His name is August and he neither closes his "G's"
or crosses his "T's"

An übungsplatz is a training area so it could be from a military trainee given the date.
Looks to be going to 46 Weingarten strasse (Vineyard street).

His handwriting has elements of Sütterlin and Kurrent cursive handwriting and that's why he doesn't close G's or cross the T's. Some of the alphabet letters are very close and there's variations hence the difficulties. Franktur is so much easier. What is K'he a contraction for? I haven't figured why he used a '
I'll search on the street to see if I can come up with a match to something. Thanks for the help.

I think it came from the concentration camp "Heuberg bei Stetten" which also had a troop garrison as AnthonyUK mentioned

edit-- the message also says "best greetings from Heuberg"

Thanks for the help! I think the postmark is then Heuberg-Truppenübungsplatz which makes sense. I read that in the 1945 they tried the the first vertical take-off manned rocket flight. It didn't go well. Very interesting history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lager_Heuberg.
