Looks like my R135 got run over by a very narrow truck tire. Anyone know about this cancellation type?

It is a grill of some type, wait a minute. Are the impressions on the front? I am sure it is meant to prevent reuse.

Jeff, this grill type embossing was a method of cancelling revenue stamps. I have seen several on these.
