Very difficult Cinderellas to Identify,
Much appreciation to Mr. Jay Carrigan.

3 - 25 blue/green issued April 20, 1949. Commemorates the 30th anniversary
of the unification of Ukraine on Jan. 22, 1919.

1&2 - part of a set issued in Oct.-Nov. 1953 honoring members of the Ukr.
National Council. A 3rd stamp honors S Baran. Issued se-tenant with
labels printed in Ukrainian, English, German and French.

4 - 25 dark green/yellow green (originally issued in 1949) overprinted in Nov.
1953 to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Lviv.

The post war geographical changes seemed to create a lot of this type of cinderellas from the "absorbed" countries. Thanks for the updated info.

This appeared to be a protracted desire
for the country to be free Russ.
They won it in the end, amongst great mystery,
I recall well the poisoining.
