Was on the USPS web site today and found this error rather interesting:
Wouldn't you think an entity the size of the USPS would immediately pickup on their mistake?
For those who don't see it right off, the Lunar New Year Stamps are only available in panes of 12 for $5.28; not a pane of 20 (in which case the cost would be $8.80)!
What scares me is that the USPS is claiming huge deficits, threatening to close thousands of post offices nationwide, terminating leases and selling real estate, as well as laying off all kinds of personnel, and yet they can't do simple elementary school math on their own web site to sell a consumer a sheet of stamps.
Maybe the programmer punched in the info from the previous Year of the Hare 1990 issue scott #3272 or maybe not. Then again there is the 2005 Chinese New Year $0.37 12 stamp sheet scott 3895 or 2006 $0.39 12 stamp sheet scott 3997.
