Hi to all

Has anyone else seen this variety. The stamp is 1977 Australia Broken Bay New South Wales, ( lovely place been there several times.)
The stamp on the right shows a definite colour shift. It is not in Gibbons.
Regards,
Horamakhet

Not seen that one,
frankly, mis-registration varieties intrigue
me on how people value them,
The 1973 mis registration on the Opera House I have seen at auction
and it went over $100 for what I can recall, it was a while ago.
BTW it was MUH.

Hi Rod222
Thank you for the info.

In Gibbons it says that there is also the Opera house with missing colours two versions worth about $4500.00 Australian. I would love to find one of those.
It looks like there could be other varieties as well, some partially missing colours, it is going to be a long job.
I found that stamp in a bulk lot that I bought from a deceased estate for $60. There are thousands of Australian Stamps. Lots of Mint un-hinged and heaps of used unhinged. I have only finished sorting them thematically. Now the hard job starts sorting them into date lines. There are so many duplicates that I will be able to make up three rather large albums of Australian Decimal Currency stamps for the children covering the 1970's to about 2010. Some issues missing, but it will be something for the children to keep or maybe start adding to later on.

Regards

Horamakhet

How does that work? are you a thematic collector?

If you want a particular year (date line?), just holler!

Hi Rod222

No not a thematic collector but that would be an interesting field.

I bought them all as a deceased estate, and I thought that sorting them into what I probably mis-takingly call thematic, it would be easier, ie Christmas, Living together, parks, gardens, commemorative events etc. Then I am going to sort them into the years of issue date, but not thematically. I want to make three albums up for the children. If I can not find a particular year or date line I will certainly take you up on your offer.
The exciting part about sorting them is that I keep coming across varieties. So who knows what may be in this accumulation.
Regards
