Modern Perfinnated Forever Stamp On Cover March 2011

I received a nice surprise at work today. I had a cover addressed to me that had a 2009 inscribed Liberty Bell Forever s/a booklet stamp with the initial "I" perfin and a March 2011 spray on cancel. The placement of the stamp sheet caused the perfin for the stamp below to punch thru 3 of the die cut "perforations" for the top of the I

I am assuming that this perfin is for the State of Illinois as the letter had to do with Lincoln's Tomb here in Springfield. I will post a scan or photo when I remember & can.

Not seen very often to be sure. The bottom perfs were a bit odd looking at first until I realized it was probably the perfinned "I" intended for the next stamp.

Most unusual, I like it.
