Hi to all

Whilst looking for stamps in the opp shops (Thrift Shops etc OS)
I found an old album full of heaps of stamps One of the items was one and a half sheets of the pictured item. They are Mint never hinged and in pristine condition. There were many countries represented, but I purchased it for the USA and Australian Stamps, I paid $100.00 Australian, but just a quick perusal tells me that I will be repaid several times over just with the Australian Stamps.
Can any one offer any information other such as how many were produced etc.

This particular souvenir sheet was issued on March 9 1978 and the full production was 2,009,378 units.

A mint never hinged version and well as a used copy has a listed catalog price of CHF7. A copy on cover lists for CHF12.

All according to the 2010 Zumstein catalog.

Horamkhet Great find...thrift shops usually have no idea on value of stamp items..they can price high or low...i once saw a cellophane envelope of sheetlets from the 1980s..the ad read 60 dollars in postage for 40 dollars...i purchased the bag and the found it had twice the advertised face value.....

Thrift shops are real hunting grounds. In the Australian stamps I found two copies of the thin paper five shillings Robes, in fine used condition no hinges, Gibbons lists them at Fifty Pounds each, so I have well and truly paid for the album. I also found about 100 old Argentine stamps, some from the 1880's.
