My Recently Acquired US Scott 120

It has two major faults: a visible pinhole and a thin in the same area. Never the less, it looks nice with VF centering for the issue and cancel that does not obliterate the stamp. It does have a short, or pulled, perf on upper left but it is not too distracting. Most important, Compared with other 120s with much higher prices that had heavy dark cancels, I got it for a reasonable price. The others did not have major faults but their overall appearance was not as nice.

It certainly is one I would include in my own album.

I have a few of the series, but not the high values. I doubt I'll ever get the 90-cent.

An attractive stamp. Congratulations!

Very nice. Pretty good centering and nice registration on the colours. I've just started looking into these, recently acquiring the 2 and 3c stamps.

Thanks guys. I've been looking for several years for an affordable 120, with or without faults, that I liked. I am only missing the 90 cent Lincoln but if I ever do get one, it will most likely be a badly damaged one. My 30 cent #121 was described as possibly having a tiny thin. If so, it is so tiny that I have not found it. I haven't really looked with every detection method at my disposal though.

Beautiful stamp to be certain! I, myself need a nice used (even better an unused) single for my collection and I'm always keeping an open eye for these beauties! [of course referring to Scott#'s 118 & 120] IMO some of the most beautiful stamps ever printed! I like the cancel too in the upper right hand corner. Windmill or flower perhaps?

I agree that 118 (and 119) and 120 are beautiful bi-color stamps. It is such a shame that these were available for only a year or so since the public did not like them at all when issued or we'd have more copies available and less expensive to boot.

I don't have one of those yet. I am missing 115,120,121, and 122

Like you quigngt, I'm missing the 90 cent vale and I've been looking for an affordable copy for several years. Hard to come buy for sure. I think I'm going to have to spend some $$ if I ever want to get one.
