Just wanted to run a thing by you. I was planning to put a few covers up for sale here until I figured out the postage costs outside of Europe, 27 kroner (approximately US$5). The problem is that the letter would weigh over 20 gram, which add considerably to the price.

So before I start scanning and putting things up for sale here, would you even consider buying a cheap cover with such high postage prices? I would of course use current stamps, with a nice hand cancel.

Any feedback is appreciated.

If it is something I want and cannot find locally, I might be willing to pay the expensive Norwegian postage. Why not show us a few scans.

Yobo
Show what you have for sale. Anyway there is no fee on SCF. Just be clear about the shipping cost. The stamps on the envelope are desirable too.

Here is one I was planning to put up here. Nothing special about it as far as I can see, the idea was that someone with an interest in the Red Cross might like it. Was going to start it at 50 cents.

I can upload some more scans in the end of the next week. I am going away for the weekend in a an hours time, and when I get back home it gets really busy for a few days.

"start it at 50c"

Are you having these for sale, or for auction?

Rod, I was thinking about an auction, but haven't put it up yet.
