according to the book I just looked at with your image it looks more like a 6 type 1a..... a very nice stamp indeed! curious what others say and how they decide what in fact it is.... I am going by an older book and the identifier in the back explains the variations of this stamp.. but admittedly I am learning
Not being an expert on this issue. But does appear to be a type IV. Clearly re-cut at the bottom and missing the bottom balls on the scrolls. Full Scv is approx $130.00, but in this shape would get about $20.00 to $25.00. Ron
