Hi all,

My name is Amr I am Malak's father. I am a coin collector more than a stamp collector although I have a small collection of FDC's and Post cards. I have an account her on Stamp Community forum with a user name (EgCollector).

My daughter is much more interested in stamps than I do so I gave her my humble stamp collection and she is more interested in stamps with birds. Today is her birthday and I promised her to make her first stamp forum membership when she becomes seven.

I will leave it from here for her to introduce herself and start to read and post (under my supervision ofcourse....at least for a while).

.....................................................

Hi all
My name is Malak. I am an Egyptian.
I am in year one, primary British school. I like to collect stamps with birds. I am happy to be a member of this forum.

Malak

Hi Malak

First let me say Happy Birthday!
What a lovely gift your father has given you by letting you join our group. You will enjoy it I'm sure.

We do not have a specific thread on Birds just yet so maybe you can start one...your Father can help you. It is a very popular and worthwhile topic, and can lead to a lifetime's enjoyment.

I have been to your country many times, I even did some Egyptian dancing on stage at the Cultural Arts Festival in Suez in 1988 !

Welcome and enjoy.

Hi Malak, welcome!
There was no internet when I was your age, so I think its wonderful that now you can come to our forum and join in.
Please start a thread about birds, I'm sure everyone would love to see some of your collection, and also let you see some of our bird stamps, too.

Hello Malak, welcome! Happy Birthday.

Topic on Chickens and Roosters to look at and add to:
https://goscf.com/t/13941

Topic on Birds Perched, Birds Flying, Birds Aground:
https://goscf.com/t/5934

Lots to see and probably lots more stamps to add pictures to these bird threads.

Here is an advertising postcard that came in my mail with a little Chickadee bird from Nova Scotia, Canada, trying to keep warm in the cold weather in Winter-time here.

Puzzler you cracked it !
I searched high and low for that Birds thread and then gave up...thinking it must have been a dream. The search engine failed on this occasion.

There we are Malak....a thread already started for you to enjoy and add to.
Have fun.
