For those who are interested, the USPS is selling British wedding stamps commemorating the upcoming royal marriage.

I also posted this on another thread. What I found most interesting was the Digital Wedding Postmark the USPS is offering, as they apply the new US "Forever" Wedding Roses stamp (required for US postage) but the postmark reaches into that stamp only. Although GB stamps are also affixed to the envelope, the cancel doesn't reach to them, so they are not really "tied" to the cover. Also, the postmark is unusual for the US in that it only includes a date but no city/state/zip code:

When I was at the Israel2008 Exhibition in Tel Aviv I tried to get a show cancel on an Australian 'Light Horse' M/S, but was refused.

I did not agree with the reason and called for the management !
They still refused but tried to compromise by saying if I placed an Israel Stamp on the M/S I could get that cancelled !

I reluctantly agreed.

Thanks for posting the link for the cover. $7.95 seems a bit steep to me for something like this. Is that what souvenir covers usually sell for?

In the world of CTO covers, the price seems about normal. Unfortunately, the USPS has steadily resorted to selling this sort of thing to collectors as a means of supplementing income. My local post office looks more like a gift shop than anything else ...
