You've passed the 50 posts threshold, Ron, so you could announce in the Links to ebay or Other Auction Sites. But there is indeed a great deal of anticipation among frequenters of this forum topic, so I think you could be forgiven for posting here.
Just taking a quick glance. Your first one looks to be a 46a with (secret mark) probably a Sc#158 in pristine condition Worth a $1.00. A couple other notes. It looks like it could be said that it is a jumbo, also the magenta cancel is nice, but in the condition it is in still about a $1.00. The second one is a A72 Sc# 231. Again worth about a $1.00 or less. Please do not let this dissuade you, I have many stamps that I would never consider to sell no mater what price was offered. I always tell people when asked what are they worth....answer,,, what in your heart you are will to to sell for. All the best Ron
I'd like to offer two constructive comments -- I mean them in the spirit of helpfulness. I hope you won't think I'm being a jerk. Both have to do with the use of "informal language" in your Important Notice information.
I would reword the phrase "I have been bitten;" some of your buyers may be unfamiliar with the colloquialism. Perhaps you've been disappointed, deceived, mislead, cheated, tricked, etc.
For similar reasons, you might want to find a better word than RIDICULOUS to describe Bill Weiss. I understand you are referring to his prices, but it's still a little awkward. If you decide to leave it in, change it to ridiculously; you want the adverb.
Finally, I need a nice Scott 118! I have to go now to break open my piggy bank and count my change :-)
