My old Michel German Specialised (1999) doesn't give a basic colour for this value but it does list the two shade groups that you mentioned as #137a brown to olive brown and #137b blackish brown [black brown]. However, it gives #137a a much lower price (2.75 DM used) than it does #137b (100 DM used).
