Are These Precancels?

Hello all.
I don't collect precancels, and don't know much about them. So I have to ask, are these some type of precancel I've never seen before?

I have two of the (2) WILL variety, from different sources which is what made me wonder.

Those aren't precancels. There may be a specific name for them that I'm not aware of, but essentially they were large "wavy killer cancels" that were typically used in that day on parcels or larger envelopes to help make certain all postage on the parcel was appropriately cancelled.

Here's one from my collection from the early-1960's from Los Angeles:



The question about "(2) Will" probably is the city name preceded by the station or machine number that applied the cancel. Obviously, "Will" is a rather limited clue to determine where the cancel may have originated, as many possibilities exist, but one I'd suggest is possibly Willamette, Oregon (but I could be wrong).

That solves that easily. I guess the fact I got two of the WILLs from two sources reminds us that, occasionally coincidences really do happen. Cheers.
