Here is a stamp from Rattle Snake Island on Lake Erie in Ohio. They started a local service back in 1966 after being denied service since 1959 by the Postal Authorities. They continued till 1989 when the owner of the Island stopped the service.
Then beginning in Sept, 2005 they resumed service.
