I Thought Plating This 9 Would Be Easy

Here's a beater I bought cuz it was cheap and yet has good margins and looks interesting. I thought it would be easy to plate since it's a 9 and Richard Doporto has a complete plating of 1L. And only the top line is recut, and so a smaller number of positions to look at. But I can't make it work! Plating tips? Clues?

I would say it can only be one between 91-99L, 44R, or 91-99R1L.

I was ruling out bottom row because the paper is cut so close on the bottom. I'm looking at my list, and I had crossed out 44R, but I think that was because the top line recut in my stamp looks to go from the middle of the period after S and to the A. The plating archive example is shorter. But everything else fits. 44R seems to work best.

Edit: just noticed the plating archive mentions a dip in the recutting over the PO, and that's very much evident in my stamp. QED

Just in case you don't get my email, those positions I gave you are no good because the stamp is a B relief.

You're good, 44R and most of the bottom row except 96-100R are B relief
