How many members collect stamps by theme or topic?
Should we set up a forum for topical collectors?

I don't collect by theme, I just collect everything.

There seem to be more topical collectors as time goes by so I'd say yes. Actually, I think I mentioned this several months ago. . . . but then I suffer from old-timers memory!

The "Show Us Your XXXXX Stamps" threads tend to be topical. Might be a good place for them instead of the general forum.

I place a lot of topicals under the main stamp collecting forum because they don't all fit under just US stamps. I try to interest people by asking them to show us their stamps. I think a topical forum would be great now that the forum memership is growing. I love that idea!

I like most started as a general collector over 20 years ago. The last couple of years I have started 2 topical collections Abraham Lincoln and Route 66. Mostly though I just collect what I like. I even got my wife collecting Disney world wide, but she has slowed down this last year. A topical forum should be good for the sight and membership.
