Finding "No Matches" when searching for a topic to place appropriate stamp. As an eg, "Water on stamps", using "match exact phrase" or "match any words" in "Topical Stamps Collections" using "Any date"- even though the topic exists I get no matches.

It's happened for many topics I search for, what am I doing incorrect, Please.

G'day finches,

Type in text string "water on" (match any words)
then select "Search in" and select "subject line only"

It pops up immediately

Start with as simple a search topic as possible. If you get too many results, make it progressively more complex to get to the listing you are looking for.

Rod222 and Smauggie, many thanks for that helpful info.

There is nothing worse than the same topics spread all over SCF, makes referencing difficult for users.

lots of topics/stamps/covers can fall into many categories, that is the beauty of stamp collecting. It appeals to the many in many different ways. Also, if you remember whom posted the topic your could include their userid as a search option
