Does anyone have or collect stamp show covers?

Some turned up in a purchase I made a few years ago, with many
interesting and creative themes. Most seem to be from a couple
of cities in Wisconsin, but there are others included. While I no
longer have most of the covers that came in that lot, I held on
to them. Anyone have show covers from other than Wausau and
Stevens Point, Wisconsin?

Let's see them!

I've put some aside for my next scanning session if there's interest.

This one is a bit more serious, with an historical slant.

And how can we forget the threat of that dreaded millennium bug?

What a joke that turned out to be!

This cover consists of a 1 penny Cape Of Good Hope newspaper wrapper with an additional stamp added. That stamp, no doubt, was in part attached to a newspaper and that part was lost when the newspaper was removed. It was mailed on September 24, 1894 from Somerset East, Cape Of Good Hope, to Mr. D. M. Jacobs, Masonic Hotel, Salisbury, Mashonaland!

Has anyone heard of Mashonaland?

Does anyone know where Mashonaland is or was?
