Hello everybody, I need help to identify the stamp on this cover. It was posted in Brunn and there is more than one Brunn. I have looked through the German section of Scott and didn't find it. I don't have a catalog for Austria and am beginning to think this is an Austrian stamp.TThanks so much for your help.

The picture of that series of stamps in Austria is very pale, but I believe you are looking at Scott # 19, from 1863.

Dave.

Nice cover, nice cancel too. Brunn is now in the Czech Republic, called Brno.

It would be interested to translate the items on the list and figure the value in today's dollars.

Send it to BeeSee if you get bored of it
