what does that mean? "Russ of Sinclair2010" Please excuse my ignorance as I'm still getting used to things/protocol and folks names on here. I am haggling for it so it's looking good in my favor but I want advice before I pull the trigger so-to-speak.
to be clear his counter offer was 199. & free shipping and countered his with 150.00 and looks good and I need this one but don't wanna get taken for a ride...
EDIT: OH I see now, it's grab hold of Russ OR Sinclair2010 not grab hold of Russ of Sinclair2010 that sounds like a royal title of ye ole England...lol

This example has part of the design cut off from the bottom and has only 2 margins. $199 is way too much for this stamp, and $150 would be close to full retail value. Without a scan of the back to check for additional faults, I would caution against buying this stamp.
You can get better for $150.

$150 to much with only 2.5 margins. If you do a search for "the seal" he is one of our members that has acess to many top end classics and he can likely get you a better copy for same or less. I would almost call this one a space filler but I also don't have one. I'd pay maybe $75 but odds are it will sell . Patience and the right deal will come along. Not that I have an ounce of patients myself. |

Back scan would be nice (I would recommend never buying without it). The scan is a little fuzzy but it MIGHT have a recut left frameline. |

OK thank you for the advice. If you could really hook me up with a #1 for that I'd probably go for it seeing it was from people I trust. Thank you very much!

In my opinion not worth $150, maybe $85-$100 as a space filler. What are you looking for Average, Fine, Very-fine condition? Let me know what price range you are looking at and I'll e-mail you if I see something, believe me I'm always watching many auctions for 1847 issue. I don't mind helping out. |

a nice copy with a pen cancel would be fabulous! looking to spend 120-ish I'm also on the lookout for a #14 or #17 as they are my definite favorites of all us classics. |
