Farming Australia Native Plants, released 17th May 2011. These are the stamps I am mailing in Australia and about 200 people are going to enjoy a gummed stamp on their mail for a change. Managed to send these stamps to 3 people on first day of issue and one is a 5th time back as a buyer. On his envelope I put the 60c Australian Honey joined to the 60c Eucalyptus Oil.
I really like this issue, I hope everyone else does a well.

Issue Highlights.
This stamp issue includes a special sheetlet pack of 10 stamps infused with the clean, fresh smell of Australian eucalyptus oil. Gently rubbing the stamps will release the oil's fragrance.
At a cost from Australia Post for $6.45c

I agree that this is a beautiful issue, I got my sheetlet yesterday.

I know that most collectors complain that Auwstralia Post is releasing too many issues, but lately some of their issues have been very well put together (apart from the wedding stamps, but everyone makes mistakes :))

Looks like that the 2011 year book might be a good thing to order early.

:)

Well Perf14 and moldman I also think
Australian stamps are very beautiful.
Packets of 500 Australia decimal used with
80+ sets and 50 high values makes
the best collection around.
It is so nice to hear people by email excited
about opening a packet and just having to tell
us about it all. It is a special pleasure as a
collector helping other collectors with their stamps.
Who said sellers are a boil on a stamp collectors backside.
Always Happy Stamping. KGV.

KGV Collector, you hit a soft spot with scented Australian stamps. Did you every send the scented Roses and Love Blooms out on mail? They were beautiful issues.

No finches I did not I was still sending my rusty
stamps to dealers with my auction material at that time.

But I am going to buy some of this issues scented
stamps to send for that special thank you.
If I pay good money for my mailing I want
good stamps and not the greatest hits of
70's and 80's. So if that is what I like then
why should I not send out the best stamps for
the hard earned money the buyer has
entrusted to me for their mailing investment.

KGV Collector, a admirable attitude. As I get older and pass on my stamps to other temporary custodians, your logic is what I'll endeavor to adapt.
