I'm honestly not a stamp collector. My father used to be when he was younger, and thus, have a ton of stamps. Neither of us know what any of them are worth.
I was wondering, if I take HD pics of these stamps, if you guys could help us out.
Thanks
Kaspar.

Welcome Mustangman65_79. You may want to go to your local library and look for Scott Stamp Catalogues and check some of them out yourself. Scott has 6 volumes of world wide stamps with prices listed for mint and used stamps. You can also scan in stamps for us to view and let you know what they are worth. |

Thanks for the advice. I have, I would guess, near 1000 stamps here to try and go through. |

Welcome to the group mustang As stated earlier, the library might be your best bet because most libraries in Canada get a new set every 2 or 3 years, + or - Chimo Bujutsu |

Hello mustang man, welcome. If you are taking pictures of large groups of stamps, say on album pages or a table top full, then use photobuket or flickr or some photo hosting site like them and just post a link on Stamp Community.
This is because the file size limit on here is 100kb which can be rather small for new cameras to achieve.
We like pictures of stamps, yes! |

Welcome mustang... At the top of your post where it says Posted Today 6 Min ago, third icon from the left, the little piece of paper with the pencil. Click on that and you can edit to your hearts content. See? you've learned something already. Isn't this a great place? |

Mustangman, at the top of each post are a few icons, including an edit icon, which you can click on. It looks like a page with a pencil. |

Mustangman, the library idea was certainly the first stop, but then come right back here with the questions that are left over and we will jump all over them to help. Plenty of people here, including me, who would love to be able to help you. - Jeff |
