Just got these in from ebay. Each unusual in their own way.

The first one is has an R5c along with a bisected R5c paying the 3c tax rate. I checked very closely to see if it had been in any way manufactured, since the cancel is not initialed, but there is no evidence of removal or readherence of either stamp, nor was one added; the cancel crosses both stamps the way one would expect.






The second one is an illegal use of a postage stamp in lieu of revenue stamp.

Alot of them old cards in B&W are almost eerie but the flip sides are simply perty!
