OK, so I'm researching all the different known paper used to print stamps on and I ran across a type called MAP PAPER. It said that stamps was printed on the back of old military maps because of a paper shortage. Anyone own any? I would love to see some pics if possible?

Also curious to see RIBBED PAPER. Any leads to any US issues? Thank you very much!

Ribbed paper is similar to laid paper except that the ridges are more prominent and typically closer spaced. Below is an image of the Contenential Banknote Co. Scott 158 with vertically ribbed paper.
