Thanks for resurrecting this thread, Jeff. I missed it in my survey a couple of months ago.

Art - you mentioned fairs (plural) do you also collect the Philadelphia expo of 1876?

Maybe you would be interested to see these essayk?

Of course I have Columbian Expo tickets as well and there is a huge thread on them and other emphemera so you can see a few of my tickets there too.

No stock certificate, I'm sorry to say. I'm as complete as I want to be on the Columbians. I do collect other exposition tickets. I have a complete, as far as I know, set of PanAm tickets, 1876 Centenial tickets, Lewis & Clark Expo tickets, a Southeast Cotton Expo ticket and a Hindenburg airship ticket (Not the crash flight).

Even if one has managed to buy/win most of the stamps/covers that one collects, it is usually the one that got away that one regrets not getting.
