She doesn't care too much; have a trusting spouse & I *never* overspend... there!

My husband has an antique Jaguar. I don't think I'll ever match his ebay or any other purchases. So I guess I'm safe.

only in the circle of philatelists is a bigger status symbol to have a mint beaver thank an antique jaguar

I have no problem getting purchases past her. She's pretty indifferent anymore. It's when she asks "how much" after an auction that I start to sweat.

She dont mind much anymore, we had a good talk over the credit card statement. She reads a book a day and down loads them on here kindle average $10 per book and there's her Tim Horton's ( coffee ) another $10 a day oh yeah $15 on smokes that's a average of $45 a day. Then lets get into the nails and hair and make up another few hundred a month and lets not forget the odd handbag she has to have throw in her shoe purchases and I was told sandals don't count she spend on average per year $20,000 on herself . So we have a agreement that we can spend the same on our hobbies and be even.
Then she also likes the fact the stamps might be worth something when I kick the bucket. She will sell them and buy more stuff.
Iam lucky that she don't mind what I spend.
We don't have kids so we have a little disposable income.
