As promided to bobgggg, here are some pictures of the stamps I am sorting now. These are all from a box I bought for $10 while in St. Louis a couple of weekends ago. They are all US, mainly from the late 30s to late 60s. I am planning on getting a packet together for each kid in our stamp club and getting them started on a US collection. If anyone needs any stamps from this time range, let me know. There will be tons of extras. Please pardon the messy desk. There are too many projects going on right now and not enough time to organize!

I'm impressed with the piles, whenever I sort stamps my piles are much more messy. It is a good thing you are doing, getting together packets for the kids. I'll bet they will appreciate it. |

DON'T ANYONE SNEEZE!
What an excellent effort, Spanishmoss! Make sure you keep a record of all your work and show it to the kids before you hand out the packets; they will value them more (hopefully) once they see how much you care.
As a long time teacher, I expect that most will be impressed but will quickly forget all about it after 5 minutes; but one or two or three will be filled with wonder and will pick it up soon after or in the future; that will be a great success.
Well done,
:) |

Hey Spanishmoss! I need some US stamps, if it's possible. I'm resuming collecting after a 12 year hiatus. Mark |
