I'm not sure if this was ever posted before on SCF, but I found this article interesting dating back to February 2011 on Quick Response Codes on Postage Stamps:

http://printceo.com/2011/02/scannab...80%9D-in-qr/

I wonder how many other countries use QR Codes imbedded in postage stamps? I guess there must be a few already, with more to come in the future.

Anyone care to post other scans or links to this type of new technology?

Hi wt1, here are those stamps on covers I received this year: last year:

If you have a smartphone with scanner software, you can scan the codes right off these images on your screen.

Another QR code stamp - from Croatia. Unfortunately the scanner on my phone can't read the code because of the cancel, I think. Perhaps this is why we don't see more of them?

Thanks for posting the link 22crows, yes, very interesting. Amazing to see what can be done with "augmented reality". Good to see stamps getting involved.
