Hey WT1, I do enjoy going through the stamps and looking at them. I like How they have history to them. Who did they go to? Maybe one of the stamps I have went to a famous person. But you never know because stamps cant talk. But if they did it would be really cool

Agreed! That's why a lot of people prefer to keep stamps on the envelope they were used on. Several recent posts on this forum show period covers of the late 1800's or early 1900's to people that have had an impressive history in the business or financial or political world. When the stamp is removed from the envelope, all of that history is lost.

I remember a quote someone had about stamps are like bullets.... they are much more interesting when used..... |
