No value there baddufo, but a nice little mix to get the juices going.
As a Cinderella freak, I like the US State [Dakota] label.

You must have made a perfect search to end up here, the best place you will ever see on your computer !

I believe they were issued late forties. I like the series a lot and have a few odd ones.
However, yesterday I won a full sheet in Original Glassine without any damage. I have been after one for a while [Years !].

The price was amazing. My jaw has yet to return from dropped position !

Hey baddufo, those look like the remnants of a collection..there should be albums with stamps in them around somewhere..unless someone took or sold them and just left what they did not want !

Seeing that stamp & remembering my many visits to Bismarck, ND, cruising down I94 & to see that building pierce the skyline from 15 miles away. The collage kids in that area & I'm sure some locals referred to it as the "Penis on the Prairie"!

The Immortal Chaplains block is very appropriate for this holiday weekend.
A very good read about war time and religion. Thank you for the reminder
of why we appreciate all of those in the military who have their lives so
that we can maintain our freedom

The top middle is much too closely cut, postal corner. There is ideally, either the whole cover, or a full cut corner with nice wide margins including the back of the envelope. Keep looking and welcome.

Hi Baddufo and !
There are some interesting finds here. I especially like the Koch label in the first pic. Looks like a charity stamp with the cross. Easter Seals?
Where are you finding these?

That Koch label in the first scan is Scott Catalog #WX93 and is a "corner label" from the 1938 US Christmas Seals, as per this example:

The four corners apparently had portraits of T.H. Laennec, Robert Koch, Edward Livingston Trudeau and Einar Holboll. Unfortunately, the value is only catalog minimum of $0.20.

Here's more detail for anyone interested in the bio on Robert Koch (he was also depicted on a German postage stamp in 2005):

Unfortunately, none of your scans show any stamps with significant monetary value, however, as it has been mentioned before, it is the start of a nice stamp collection.

Most of us here will agree that stamp collecting is to be enjoyed as a hobby and the value of the stamps themselves are of secondary importance. Just because the stamps you have may not be "valuable" in terms of dollars and cents, they are still the basis for a nice stamp collection that will often lead into learning about the history and background of those pictured on the stamps.

Do keep in mind that in stamp collecting, condition is everything. Many of the stamps you have scanned show tears, folds, creases, toning marks and other defects that generally diminish their value.
